Too many broken promises

Why is it guys promise you the world and only give you tears?? Why is it he has been promising to help me with my art for so long and when I finally figure out exactly how I want him to help, he makes up every fucking excuse in the world as to why he's not able to help me. How the fuck am I supposed to feel after doing almost everything he's asked me to do??
Right now he can go to hell for all I care. He always breaks his promises to me and I am so fucking sick of it
