Just a short note

So, I thought I'd leave a little note for all of you avid readers (yeah, right!) letting you know what I'm up to...
Well, I have been in Lismore for four days now and am currently in the middle of Marine Mammals (a course I am doing at uni). I have run into a few friends and have been staying with Dave's dad and brother.
Well, today two great things happened, firstly, I was able to witness one of the most beautiful whales in the world in it's natural habitat off the coast of Ballina for a uni field trip. It was so beautiful, and I just can't put it into words.
Secondly, I was told that I should look into participating in the honours program next year, which is a hell of alot of work but it is the next step toward a PhD. And, well, I am going to be doing my honours next year and I am so excited.
I promise to write more soon, but at the moment my face is windburnt and killing me.
